Goldies Easter Gal
Goldies Easter Gal is my all-time favorite horse! She thinks she is a
human, loves to have anything done to her & loves to be ridden. She has
been a great mom, but she had her last foal for us in 2006 and will now just be ridden and loved on. She has AQHA points in
HUS & she did some 3-foot jumping too. She knows beginner dressage, she
can collect nicely and break at the poll if you ask and she likes to go
trail riding. She is FUN to ride---never boring, but always sensible.
Apple HATES pigs but LOVES everything else.

Robin
Robin (Tackys Dry Doc) was
our foundation AQHA breeding stallion. He was gelded in March of 2007
and began training in dressage. He did beautifully and now he is home
to enjoy. He has lovely movement not typical for a QH, his
personality
is to die for, and THAT FACE..... |

Drummer Drummer is a 15 yr old mustang gelding. He is simply the BEST trail
horse & is close to bomb-proof. We have had him since early 2004 & it
took me some time to get used to his *mustang* personality! He tends to
be wary of things and isnt all huggy & kissy like my other horses. He is
always a good boy, but you have to approach him differently, with more
respect i guess, and awareness for his sensible nature. he is VERY light
in the bridle, walks out nicely, will trot or canter if asked (are you
sure? he will ask when cued) and never gets snorty or stupid--he is all
business & calm on the trail. He is sturdy and wise, and not ever prone
to anything un-dignified or silly. Drummer loves all food and treats of
ANY kind.

Tova
Tova is a rare & special find that arrived in January of 2007 from
The Animali Farm . She is a
retired PMU mare from Alberta Canada, and the 2nd PMU mare we have
adopted. She is about 10 yrs old and she is a grulla Fjord/Percheron
cross. She is very sweet & pretty and much friendlier than the other PMU
we had, that passed away. Tova is big & drafty, she likes to be brushed
& loved on---that isnt the norm for a PMU mare so we really got lucky
with Tova! We were amazed when we drove to Albuquerque to pick her
up---she had been on the cattle truck for about 3 days straight, in a
crowded and probably stressful situation coming form Alberta to New
Mexico. She had been unloaded with all the rest for about 2 hours and we
came to re-load her and haul her home to Gallup. By golly if she didnt
take just one sniff inside our trailer and lead right on, without ANY
fuss or argument! She will be our official baby sitter horse and live
out her days with the rest of the group in the 3-acre wooded pasture.
Tova loves her butt scratched too, so she will fit right in! (The
Animali Farm was FABULOUS to adopt from!!!) |
